성공 유학, Art Center 재학생 우림 군의 국제 사진 공모전 1등 수상을 축하합니다.^^

새벽 3시에 LA에서 날아온 반가운 소식을 미국 명문대 유학가기 회원들과 공유합니다.^^

세계 최고의 권위를 자랑하는 IPA (International Photography Awards)에서, 우리학원 동문인 Art Center 홍우림 학생이 1등 수상을 했습니다. 

미국 성공 유학의 공식 (미국 명문 예술대 합격 -> 상위 1% 장학생 -> 국제공모전 수상)을 완성해가며, 국제 무대에서 자신의 꿈을 현실로 만들어가는 우림 학생의 멋진 도전과 성공을 축하합니다.^^

Art Center 재학생인 홍우림님의 국제 공모전 1등 수상을 축하드립니다. 우림씨는 그의 시리즈 "City Soleil : Eager to Learn"시리즈로  International Photography Awards에서 발표 한 Editorial Photographer of the Year 1등을 수상했습니다.

City Soleil은 아이티의 포르토 프랭스 대도시 지역에 있는 작은 마을입니다. 태양의 도시라는 그 이름과는 달리 흐릿한 빛이 남아있는 것만 보입니다. 우림씨는 또한 City Soleil: The Light in the Darkness에서  Honorable Mention 언급을 받았습니다.

International Photography Awards는 전 세계적으로 프로페셔널 사진작가, 아마추어 사진작가, 학생 사진작가를 대상으로 매년 개최되는 대회로, 오늘날 사진계에서 가장 야심적이고 포괄적인 경연 대회입니다.

Congratulations to Art Center 7th term student Urim Ray Hong. Ray received the First Place 2018 Editorial Photographer of the Year presented by the International Photography Awards for his series City Soleil: Eager to Learn. You can view the series here.

City Soleil is a small village within the Port-au-Prince metropolitan area in Haiti. Unlike its name—City of the Sun—however, it seems as though there is only a glimpse of light remaining.

Hong also received an Honorable Mention for City Soleil: A Light in the Darkness.
